Our Process: From Necessity to Solution

The journey toward innovation begins with problem identification in our Ideation Lab. In this space, we apply Design Thinking methodology to deeply understand user needs and generate solution concepts that deliver real value. It is here that ideas are structured and creative processes are defined before moving into physical fabrication.

Planning and Strategy

In this initial stage, we establish clear objectives for the maker space by analyzing the context and key stakeholders. We deliver a comprehensive project plan that includes an optimized layout, electrical installation plans, a specialized machinery list, and a strategic operational proposal designed to secure international certification

Aquisition and Implementation

We provide expert guidance during the procurement and setup of all machinery and equipment. Our team supervises the physical installation of the workshop to ensure that every area—such as the 3D Lab or the Prototype Lab—meets the necessary technical conditions. Additionally, we provide a digital kit of manuals covering digital fabrication techniques to kickstart operations

Training and support

To ensure long-term success, we offer high-level methodological training through the Fab Academy. This hybrid program allows lab managers to master digital fabrication tools and processes. Following the opening, we provide one month of remote technical and operational support to assist with the daily management of the space

While valuable to the professional Industry 4.0 community and STEM makers for professional product development, the platform is intuitive enough for students and makers because it does not require special tools or advanced hardware and software knowledge. XIDE consists of X-NODE modules and X-BOARD expansion cards that make it possible to quickly and easily evaluate sensors, actuators and communication modules. X-BOARDs are expansion cards that provide connectivity between X-NODE modules. It is possible to connect up to 15 modules through a pair of SIL connectors, stacking them one onto the other. XIDE incorporates multiple connectivity standards, including mikroBUS™ from Mikroelektronika, Qwiic® from SparkFun and STEMMA QT® from Adafruit, making it compatible with a large development ecosystem.

He has been a mentor in the Maharashtra Institute of Design in Pune, India, as circular product design and social needs design expert, and Innovative entrepreneurship leader at Mondragon Team Academy in Bilbao Spain. He also led the Strategic project office of the Chamber of Innovation and Design in Puebla, Mexico, UNESCO design city of 2017.
